Lotus Temple by Metro 



The Lotus temple is situated in South Delhi’s Kalkaji, falls on the Violet line of the Delhi Metro, running between Central Secretariat and Badarpur. One needs to deboard at Kalkaji Mandir Station of the Delhi Metro and then can walk towards the Lotus Temple which is hardly half a kilometer or one can also take a cycle rickshaw. The passengers on other lines need to deboard at Central Secretariat where they can get connected to the Violet line.

Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) daily operates sight seeing tours from Scindia House except on Monday. The temple also, remains closed on Monday. These tourists buses can take the tourists to the Lotus Temple. The fare of these buses is generally around Rs. 200 for the adults and Rs. 100 for the children.
